Finally! A true portable, battery-operated Multi-Tool! The only drawback is that Black & Decker is no longer the 'Made in USA' tool manufacturing company they were renowned for. Unlike the practically indestructible B&D tools of yesteryear, everything today is made with a 'planned obsolescence' or life-span. This cool tool will probably be in the garbage after 4 years of regular use, and replacement parts will be intentionally difficult to find in order to usher in the company's new, more expensive, 'incompatible-with-the-old' design.

Delf,
Actually, that is a corded tool in the video.
DeWalt is owned by B&D, which is based in Towson, Maryland.
I used to own and actual cordless B&D set like this, but only really used the drill & saw.

Roy,
(D'oh) You're right...it is corded. oops. But, both companies you mentioned, irrespective of who owns who or where they're "based", the manufactured parts and assembly is still in China, where quality and durability go to die. B&D was at their best when all of their products were made in USA. I have corded and hand tools from the 1950's that I still use regularly by B&D and Craftsman. Dewalt's quality has suffered as well. They are practically as 'durable' as Ryobi, which is ostensibly a low quality 'disposable' tool company.

France has just introduced a law that makes it mandatory for manufacturers who no longer supply spare parts for their products to publish all drawings and specs for free so people can 3D-print their own.
