Agreed. "Redneck" engineering would invariably involve poorly applied duct tape, explosives and a 98% chance of severe injury somewhere in the project, with little to no money invested in materials. The above undertaking is waaaay too advanced, or 'hoity-toity' for any proud Redneck to attempt.
The International Redneck Association (IRA) clearly states for any project:
- no bought materials, only upcycling
- allowed tools are welding torches, explosives, ducttape and cable binders
- there has to be a compartment for a sixpack of beer (pabst blue ribbon is mandatory)
- barely to no paintjobs or finishing
- work one the project drunk or trippin b@lls
- Uncle Jack has to help (mostly with beer supply)
- any measuring device is the devils right hand
- do not forget the shotgunholder
- you work either naked or in dungaries (let them b@lls dangling!)
- Listen to the silvermullets advice with a straight 'Yeah, man!'
- blast Dolly Parton or alike from your truck in full volume
- Invite neighbours to join in (see Uncle Jack)
the only special tool i can see is that styrofoam cutter....
