That's pretty cool but I usually don't have a rope that strong on me. I just have a small nylon one you could use climb, probably not strong enough to rotate a tire enough to move the car.

I think you are missing the point. The rope turns your front-wheel drive into a rear-wheel drive car. That is how your front wheel, spinning, enables your rear wheel to have move and have traction to pull the car out.
