In Germany, you have to pay for a bicycle in trains or busses.
Sometimes, the drivers/conductors can refuse, to take the bike with you, if there are too many passengers.
A trolley costs no fee.

wow talk about bus nazis lol. we are allowed to have pets, wheelchairs, bikes etc on our city buses for no charge.
