Not necessarily. They were popular in earlier times before Wellingtons/rubberboots were a thing. They were called galosches and protected your expensive shoes against the elements.

Philinda,or geothermal. There are lots of places in the Rockies where the rocks are warm year round. Often near hot springs.

They mean like when something spawns in a video game or simulation I believe. Like the simulation the runs our reality accidentally spawned to many instances of bird.obj. not as in literally spawning

#30 when I was a kid I was in my grandmother's backyard and the sky turned this weird green color. Then suddenly these bugs flew into the sky in such a thick swarm you could no longer see the sky. Then birds came to eat the bugs and it looked just like this picture. I though it was a sign of a neural disaster or something but eventually they just went away and the sky was clear again. Weirdest thing ever
