LOL good point. But the way industrial design has been going the past decade or so, replaceable parts simply aren't profitable. Battery died on your phone? Buy a new phone! Indicator in your car is bust? No problem we'll replace the whole unit. So in theory I agree with you, but realistically, if a company ever gets hold of this design, I doubt they will pick up on your suggestion.
