i, to my dismay, have to confess that i, in a slumber drive home from work, forget that this was the car from my wife and it doesnt need gas but diesel, so i refueled it up to the brim with gas and a nice person behind me alerted me to my mistake (thank god)
so, i didnt kill the engine or had to clean the engine (didnt run after pumping)BUT had to pay a HEFTY sum to get the gas out
my wife didnt let me down on that in every family reunion.
mistakes happen
But a tesla doesn't have a fuel gauge but rather a battery icon to show you the amount of energy left. If someone is not completely brainless, that should be an indicator that the car doesn't need fuel.
