Chet,

like any other sausage. Industrial or not doesn't have anything to do with it. Sausage (with a meat like that) is made in a bowl cutter. There's just no other way to do it.

no that's how it's made in italy. in the USA it's mass produced from all cow/pig butthole and other pieces that they can't sell, not from nice big cuts of meat

And people lost their minds over "pink slime" a couple of decades ago. I recall that the unofficial boycott by social media caused at least one large meat processor company to go bankrupt and had to lay off all of their workers.
