I ask myself the SAME thing when I provided them address, and phone number for a thief, and they even found him. But they wouldn't prosecute, and said "maybe we can ask him ti meet you and pay you back at the police station". Yeah right! As if that EVER would actually happen with a known thief.
Al those downvotes. When do people learn to detect sarcasm...
