"Irish television aired a report about a stange hole on the beach and claimed it could be a meteorite impact crater. This news particularly delighted two men who dug the hole while vacationing at the beach over the weekend."

If that would be a meteor impact crater why don't you search for the meteor debris first before opening your dumb cakehole.

that's it. The News needs storys to broadcast. A hole in the beach is no story. I think, the TV Station was looking for a "science guy" to comment the possible impact crater.

The point is... news is just stories people want to tell, but not actually reality. More like a "based on real events" thing. Besides a real scientist would know... craters don't look like that.
