Either touch your fingertip to your tongue and then tap the card (it should stick to it for a second, long enough to get a hold of it), or slide the card to the edge of the table and then grab it that way.

Why have long fingernails, if not for this simple task? The cat sitting next to nail clippers is meaningless in this instance. She's trying to pick up her medical insurance card after she dumped her purse. Maybe she's having a stroke and can't work her hand properly...or she's just an insufferable, homely dumb@$$.
