Yes. You're right, however, a chemical is added to natural gas so it has a distinct odour in case of a leak. It's smart to have that scratch and sniff. People will now know when they have a leak.

I've been thinking the same thing. Low oxygen over a lifetime in Marphan's causes nails to extend around the finger sides and curve down at the tip. They obviously have health issues.
