#11 Uh, what light is reflected determines the color of all things, not just peacock feathers, and that includes the fish. It appears blue because blue light is reflected whereas other colors are absorbed.

that's actually not true. Light scattering is NOT reflection (and neither is diffraction), yet it will produce colours that look e.g. like blue.

Next time you try to mansplain things, better get you facts straight!
