well, I think the original car was pretty nice. What I don't get is why you wouldn't resore it to its original (factory) condition and "pimp" it instead like this.

#36 not random. Thomastheglassexpert here and many hotels order their shower doors like this so the guest can turn on and test the water without opening the door. Means much less water to clean up on the floor and only adds just a few bucks to the cost of the tempered glass. Also a nice gun port for those who shower while having a gun handy!

Leonora, you may be right about why its there but a hole in the door means water on the floor every time - it's a dumb idea. Just turn the shower head away from the door before you start and then realign when you get in.

The hole is normally closer to the wall near the controls, so that water from the shower head does not hit it.
