The car wash customer opened the window and poured lemonade on the worker. In response, the worker sprayed water from a high-pressure hose into the open window of the car. The administration sided with the employee and prohibited the woman from using their services.

An unsafe act of retaliation. Those hoses put out a lot of pressure and can hurt someone severely. Yes the act was reprehensible, but the retaliation was very dangerous. Management, while needing to back their employee, cannot condone something that dangerous.
