#2 - looks like he has bigger issues than the flashing - looks like it pulled away because the roof below has rotten/broken rafter(s). That’s a major repair - $500 won’t even come close to getting that fixed properly.

#27 - worst advice ever LOL. This person will never be able to get it back to its original state obviously because a machine weaved it when it was manufactured - best you can do is trim it down a bit and put some PVC glue on it to keep it from fraying. Assuming this is on some sort of outdoor canvas.
