#13 my kid looked at a rotary phone and after a few moments asked: "How does it know you want to call?"

Also: despite that it's called a phone, that is the least used function.

Thursa,
I still get a laugh at the anachronistic, "Please hang up, and try again," automated recording. Most people under the age of 20 never 'hung up' a phone, much less rotary-dialed one.

Mitzi,

Well, at least I got to explain her what the red and green icons on her cellphone depicted

Thursa,

That's because they have better self control as a culture and know that putting it in the wrong newspaper encourages the behavior, but yes they do have school shootings, and robberies, and serial killers, just like everywhere else.

Virdie,

Between 2009-2018, 288 school-shootings in the USA, 2 in Canada.*

That's not 'just like anywhere else'

#6 "High" is a way too good word for that experience. Tried it once, wouldn't do it again TBH

#12 Uh yeah they do. And checking a simple map can show that at least 10-20% of wild lion areas are rainforest, which is a very wet jungle too.

"Lions are referred to as the king of the jungle but don’t live in jungles."
