It's a bit high at 19% . But that is at the customer's discretion. The 2.0% living wage fee is annoying. A lot of tips don't go to the employees. If you tip, first ask if the tips go to your server. You'd be surprised.

I will help wilber. German too, btw. We had high inflation after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and a rise in fuel and gas prices. A year later, statistics proved that most of the rise was for profit of the corpos and not for rising energy costs.
Rents are high here, too. Big companies own most of the real estate and rise the rents where they can. They never build enough apartments to ease the market, because it could lower their profits. We are all paying for this sh#t. More examples?
