“Because I worked for an establishment frequented by very high-ranking celebrities and public officials, it was common to see these individuals daily. They used aliases to keep from being bothered, but they didn’t try to hide. Many of the individuals I dealt with were extremely personable and very cordial. There were exceptions, but for the most part, I have good memories of my interactions with them.”

#8 I've stayed in hundreds of hotels through several decades around the world. I've never used the room's dresser drawers. That's what the furniture and floor are for.
#15 Not just the elevator, but the ice machine, vending machines and the always-set-to-slam-hard stair door on each end of the building. Also, the best ear plugs are the wax plugs swimmers use. Not those ineffective foam plugs. Those wax plugs when properly jammed into each ear will render you legally deaf.
