Lifetime insomiac... can't even lay down all the way unless body says so, or my nerves go off. I have to play a show I have seen, and take a Unisom or don't fall/stay asleep. Works except when sick, because I don't sleep, and can stay awake for days (not willingly).
"Be tired before you get in bed. If I’m not, I usually need chemical help. Antihistamines, melatonin, or alcohol. I haven’t figured out another way to fall asleep quickly if it’s not my bedtime yet"
