In almost every country there is a maximum width for the bicycle and cargo. Don't exceed that width or the insurance company wins.

In Germany they tried to make the bicycle wider on the street side with a small flexible strip. The results were exactly the opposite of what was expected: if your car didn't touch the strip, the driver was sure he was driving within a sufficient distance. (the distance that drivers kept on average became less.)

No. the moment i give cyclists room and the benefit, is the moment they actually act like a motor vehicle. if you want to share the road, you must use signaling, stop splitting lanes, and you stay in the street.

Motorcyclists adhere to the rules of the road and ride like every car is going to kill them. Cyclists frequently ignore the rules of the road and assume they are masters of all they survey and people need to get out of their way.
