It's a rip-off of the 'Easy Bake Oven' from the 1960's - 70's.

Actually it was a remake of it for boys. There was too many gender stereotypes for the easy bake, and they wanted boys to have it accessible.

Virdie,As a boy who grew up and used an easy bake oven in the 80's and 90's, you are wrong. Nobody was passing up the chance to make you own cakes and cookies because of gender stereotypes. We weren't raised to be poosies back then. And they have easy bake ovens that aren't all girly. It was a way to make money off the show.
