So they prepared it for a return to nature... by releasing it at a football game (Eagle game... get it?!?!)? Guess it won't be returning to the wild after all...

Bald eagles are VERY used to humans, they spend their lives near or around us, I'm positive it was fine after release. Even if the ball game was just a temporary release (trust me the hundreds that live near me know exactly where they are) it probably went back to its home territory.
