It's good to know Metal sounds basically the same everywhere, just with local main lines as the musical overtone.

Virdie, There are elements of Bangra, a Punjabi genre which is massively popular in some parts of the world: rhythms, melodic lines, and harmonies. This does have some distinct sounds going on. You wouldn't confuse this with Metal from places in Africa where Metal is big. Same with Asia, etc.
