I thought so too, so I checked. It's a KISS tribute band called, "Hairball" at a gig in Sioux City, Iowa. His name is Bobby Jensen. To his credit, he kept playing and didn't miss a note.
So it was a wig on fire?
No. When I read an article from the 'Daily Mail' about the incident, he was quoted, "...and that wasn't a wig. That's my real hair."
Looks like they lived up to their name, and then some
