I remember buying an old postcard from the very early 20th century showing my hometowns main square. There was a young lad on a bicycle rushing over it. The wheels of his bike were oval due to his speed and the cameras shutter. I still have said postcard and think of this young lad maybe rushing to his girlfriend during lunch break for a kiss. It got me into dry plate photography.
