Drunk Elephant Family Blocks Road in Mala Mala Park, Africa

There’s a tree called the Marula — its fruit is so full of sugar, it can ferment right on the branch. Local primates have known this for ages… and apparently, so have the elephants.

Elephants love to spend their Friday evenings enjoying a good drink. They'll dig a small hole — or find one already made — fill it to the brim with marula fruit, then stomp on it just a bit. After that, the sun does the rest. The result? A wild, naturally brewed mash that the elephants happily drink.
