Lady Gaga admitted to shopping from clothing sale racks in 2012. Gaga also confessed that despite the reactions she might get, she wasn’t shy to use coupons. The singer voiced her frustration in a tweet, "Why do people look at me like I'm crazy when I use coupons at grocery or try bargaining at retail, I'M FROM NEW YORK, WHERE IS THE SALE RACK?”

Blah Blah Blah - must be nice to have everything and not have to worry about paying bills or putting food down for the kids. With money you can have nirvana.

People don't seem to understand that if you have enough resources to not have to worry about the weather, food and other basic needs more money does not make things inherently superior or meaningful.
Also not chasing/putting effort into status/signaling for people with already high status is almost a given. I am surprised that more celebs arnt doing "poor people things".
