Timothée Chalamet surprised everyone when he showed up at the 2025 London premiere of A Complete Unknown on a Lime bike instead of in a fancy limo. While fans praised his “ecological” choice, the premiere organizers weren’t too happy with him parking it on the red carpet, so they slapped him with a $79 fine.

Blah Blah Blah - must be nice to have everything and not have to worry about paying bills or putting food down for the kids. With money you can have nirvana.

People don't seem to understand that if you have enough resources to not have to worry about the weather, food and other basic needs more money does not make things inherently superior or meaningful.
Also not chasing/putting effort into status/signaling for people with already high status is almost a given. I am surprised that more celebs arnt doing "poor people things".
