In an interview with The Edit online magazine in 2016, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that the documentary called The True Cost really got her into thrifting clothes for her son James Wilkie. She said, “The one area I’ve had a hard time with is pants, but I buy used T-shirts and sweaters for him. Track pants are hard; boys rip them. I don’t know how to get around that.”

Blah Blah Blah - must be nice to have everything and not have to worry about paying bills or putting food down for the kids. With money you can have nirvana.

People don't seem to understand that if you have enough resources to not have to worry about the weather, food and other basic needs more money does not make things inherently superior or meaningful.
Also not chasing/putting effort into status/signaling for people with already high status is almost a given. I am surprised that more celebs arnt doing "poor people things".
