Blah Blah Blah - must be nice to have everything and not have to worry about paying bills or putting food down for the kids. With money you can have nirvana.

People don't seem to understand that if you have enough resources to not have to worry about the weather, food and other basic needs more money does not make things inherently superior or meaningful.

Also not chasing/putting effort into status/signaling for people with already high status is almost a given. I am surprised that more celebs arnt doing "poor people things".

Growing up in poverty made Jessica Chastain mindful of what she splashes cash on, even after becoming famous. In a 2012 interview with Marie Claire, Chastain admitted, “I always supported myself through acting and would make money last a long time. I understand the value of money, and I'm not an impulsive buyer. So my lifestyle hasn't changed, except my anxiety about paying the rent is gone.”
