While Dave Grohl, the founder of the legendary rock band Foo Fighters, has achieved major success, he still watches his spending. When asked about what he does with his paychecks during a 2018 interview with The Red Bulletin, Grohl said, “It goes straight into my bank account, where it turns all moldy and smelly.”

Blah Blah Blah - must be nice to have everything and not have to worry about paying bills or putting food down for the kids. With money you can have nirvana.

People don't seem to understand that if you have enough resources to not have to worry about the weather, food and other basic needs more money does not make things inherently superior or meaningful.
Also not chasing/putting effort into status/signaling for people with already high status is almost a given. I am surprised that more celebs arnt doing "poor people things".
