Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang created a stunning artwork called "Sky Ladder", which involved a fiery ladder appearing in the dawn sky over Quanzhou City, China, in 2015. 

He used a long wire ladder, approximately 500 meters (1,650 feet) in length, and studded it with gold fireworks, quick-burning fuses, and gunpowder. Suspension: A large weather balloon was used to hoist the ladder into the sky, pulling it upward. Ignition: Once the ladder reached its position, a chain reaction of explosions was ignited along its length, creating the fiery light show that lasted about 80 seconds.
