And people getting hit by bullets getting knocked back by the force of it, while the shooter, who gets the recoil that has many times more strength than the hit of that bullet doesn't budge. This was a lie in the '80s when they first started doing it in movies, and here we are 40 years latter and they're still doing that crap.

When you fall into bogs/quicksand there is a layer of water that gets you halfway in, so you can slowly be sucked down. In reality, if you touch bottom, then its the bottom and you can wade out slowly. At least in all the muskeg bogs I live next to.
