In 1956, Maude Slocombe, one of the last surviving passengers of the Titanic, appeared on BBC television to share her chilling memories of that fateful night in 1912. She spoke of the moment the iceberg struck, the chaos that followed, and what it was like to watch the Titanic disappearance.
