At first I thought it was 'new virus related' but of course, it's fvckin' china. Here in the states, if you help someone it's considered 'rendering aide.' In china, if you help someone it means 'you accept responsibility for that person' which has far and reaching meaning including financial responsibility i.e. rent, mortgage, electric, water, wifi, car payments, health insurance, phones, food, child care, schooling, medicine, pet care, etc., etc for that person AND their family. And once they get their hands on your wallet, 'They N-E-V-E-R let go!'

You mean if I help someone there, I can then pay their rent and everything?
I might believe that after I've put on my hat with a hammer 35
