I never did and don't know anyone that ever did anything anywhere near as dumb as this. He had it moving almost fast enough just by pulling on the cable to jump in and pop the clutch - it would have worked if he'd just pushed it after the bus left until it was a little bit faster then he got it in the video, and then jumped in and popped the clutch. Now it's gonna get towed and impounded. He saved no time putting the cable to the bus, and it's doing to cost him to get it back.

The one time I did it by my self I pushed it to a short hill, let it roll as I jumped in and popped the clutch about halfway down. It worked. I went around block back to the lot I has been parked in, let it set a bit while the alternator recharged the battery.
