Giant six meter crocodiles inhabit the river Adelaide near the city of Darwin, Australia.
Along the river, so-called "jumping crocodile” cruises take place, during which visitors are invited to look at the terrible reptiles - the enormous crocodiles jumping out of water.
Frankly, I was shocked, I did not think that these monsters can jump so high.
There are masters who know how to persuade a lizard to pose beautifully for almost every shot :)
And it is not surprising, because they have spent many years to tame these reptiles. But they really make great models.

Boring?! ) See what pets you can have in Africa :)
Photos are not new, but it is quite a big collection.
It seems that this bear liked playing on a construction site, except that the work couldn’t proceed because of him ))
You bet, try to chase such a beast away ;)

Axolotl is the best known of the Mexican neotenic mole salamanders belonging to the Tiger Salamander complex. Larvae of this species fail to undergo metamorphosis, so the adults remain aquatic and gilled. But it doesn’t stop them from reproduction.
They look very funny and cute, especially they give the impression to smile all the time.
Nowadays, they are listed as endangered species.

A lot of you have already seen pictures when a spider eats a bird. But this is not the only predator that does this, there is also the praying mantis that sometimes hunts birds. I never thought that an insect could hunt birds, well, I was wrong.
In this selection, you will see photos of spider and praying mantis that hunt and eat birds. Only one thing to say - poor birds!
So, people come home and there they see that their bags and shoes have returned from the walk ;)))
Cymothoa exigua or the Tongue eating louse is a parasitic crustacean. It tends to be 3 to 4 cm long. This parasite attaches itself at the base of the spotted rose snapper's tongue, entering the fish's mouth through its gills. It then proceeds to extract blood through the claws on its front three pairs of legs. As the parasite grows, less and less blood reaches the tongue, and eventually the organ atrophies from lack of blood. The parasite then replaces the fish's tongue by attaching its own body to the muscles of the tongue stub. The fish is able to use the parasite just like a normal tongue. It appears that the parasite does not cause any other damage to the host fish.
This is the only known case of a parasite functionally replacing a host organ.
At the San Diego Zoo, California, a little gorilla named Frank had his first birthday.
This selection contains various animals with their mouth wide open, whether they are yawning, communicating, attacking or anything else ))
Some are really funny…
NB: there’s an intruder at the end ;)
This is one of those stories when different kinds of animals become friends or one of them adopts another. Nothing unusual you say. It is true, but pictures are too cute!
During the counting of cattle on a farm, the owner discovered that one calf was missing. Soon, the missing calf was found at the bottom of an abandoned well.
It couldn’t get out.
To save the calf, the farmer had to call the fire brigade and an excavator. They dug a trench, broke the wall of the well and pulled the scared animal out.
Look at this lemur. He had a good breakfast before his nose, but he missed it...
Here is an unusual animal that lives in one office in Russia. This is a Pelodiscus sinensis or a Chinese soft-shelled turtle.
In nature, this turtle lives in the Far East of Russia and in several Asian countries.
The owner says that the animal is aggressive and throws itself on the glass, if you put your hand against it.
In order to collect the letters of this alphabet, the photographer Kjell Sandved spent many years.
The fact is that all these letters were photographed on the wings of butterflies.
This is very beautiful and you should definitely see it ;)
In nature, they practically don’t come across.
Crocodiles and different kinds of cats - lions, tigers, leopards...
You will see one of the most brutal fights after the jump.
Amazing photos of a startled bird flock. Birds literally overshadow the sky.
Stunning view!

This series of spectacular pics is for lovers of what Mother Nature has created in its waters. The photos are truly beautiful.
You will see different animal species like Lightbulb Sea Squirts, Violet Sea Slugs or anemones…etc.
The guardians of a park in Colorado found a bear sitting in a special pit for skateboarders.
It seems that the bear had spent the whole night there. He wasn’t able to get out of there because the concrete walls are smooth and there is nothing to cling to.
Look after the jump how they helped him.

Look at the size of this monster. Impressive.
You should always be careful with seagullls. Whether this penguin didn’t know that or he was simply shocked of such impudence.
But one thing is clear, that day he was left without dinner.

The whole ‘show’ lasted few seconds. Wildlife photographers were watching the bait for three hours in the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Town (South Africa), when at last, a great white shark weighing over two tonnes jumped out of the water for a few yards, catching its prey.
And the photographers could take a picture of this incredible jump, just the way they wanted.

I’m not a fan of poodles, to be honest, it’s quite the opposite but those ones are really funny.
I could easily say that it’s a piece of crap and we should not make that to dogs but c’mon, look at the camel, it’s so funny! And the others are great too.
You may wonder why people did that to their poodles, well the reason is simple – they were all competing for the title of top dog at 'creative grooming' shows across the US. Owners of the dogs (mostly women) have only two hours to transform them into another creatures, but the poodles are colored before they arrive.
I call it art, funny and original art. I wish there were more of those creations to see in this series of pictures. Enjoy!
