These hybrids are even born in the wild sometimes. And scientists have been trying to breed them for a few centuries already. There are minimum two acknowledged wolf-dog hybrid breeds in existence nowadays, and a few dozens of unofficial ones.
This calf was abandoned by its mother and shivering in the flood waters in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in southeast Texas. So, now Harveigh (new name) lives with the family’s dogs and probably doesn’t even realize she’s not one of them.
Liam Rice, 24, from the Isle of Man, tweeted out some selfies with his husky Luna where they both had similar face expressions. The next day the post had thousands of retweets with people taking same photos with their dogs and cats copying them.
