Former hunter and biologist Valentin Pazhetnov organized a Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for bear cubs in the village of Bubonitsy, Russia. The center shelters the cubs whose parents were killed by hunters during the hibernation and who could otherwise freeze or starve to death. As soon as little bears grow up enough they are returned to their natural environment.

This water gun fight organized on Facebook degenerated and the 1500 people that took part of this event caused an estimated $10,000 in damage, including damages to a historic lily pond, one of the San Diego’s most recognizable landmarks. But most importantly, it is expected to leave most of the koi fish and turtles dead and all of the lilies destructed.

Bota Bota is a mid-century ferryboat resting on the St Lawrence river, Montreal, Canada. It has been restored and converted into a unique spa resort for 10 million dollars. The spa is set on 5 levels for a total surface of 3150m² (33,900 sq. ft.) and has pretty much everything you’d expect from a spa plus the beautiful view!

Sun Jifa, a 51-year-old Chinese man who lost his hands while he was building a bomb for blast fishing managed to build himself bionic arms after 8 years of planning and creating many prototypes. He couldn’t afford hospital’s prosthetics limbs but still had to work on the family farm, so he decided to build his own, and 8 years later, this is the result.

Bohumil Lhota, 73, is a builder form Czech Republic. He claims that he is tired of building ordinary houses, so from 1981 he has been building his own subterranean, rotating home. Lhota has been doing the work mostly by himself. The “Roundabout House” can rise above the ground and rotate. Its upper level has living quarters with a view over mountains, while the lower level is a swimming pool.
