The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef system in the world, composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 1,600 mi over an area of approximately 133,000 sq mi.
Most of the reefs are under water.
It is simply a paradise for lovers of scuba diving and the beautiful underwater world. After the jump, you will find a compilation of incredibly beautiful pictures from this fabulous place.

The Blond Day took place on 31 May in Riga, Latvia. The organizers of the parade want to ask UNESCO to declare officially May 31 as the International Blond Day. The dress code was strict: red, pink and white :)
