This photo project is work of Canadian artist Jon Rafman who has collected images taken by the nine lenses on the Google Street View camera cars worldwide. The project is called “The Nine Eyes of Google Street View” and will be published as a book.
Zdzisław Beksiński (1929-2005) produced some amazing art during his lifetime but it is a bit creepy when you take a closer look.
The Aral Sea was one of the four largest lakes in the world at 68,000 km2 (26,300 sq mi) but since the 1960s it has been shrinking as a result of Soviet irrigation projects diverting the river water that feeds the lakes.
