While Syria is ravaged by war, the relatives of the men who helped establish today's Syrian regime get their kicks from living a luxurious life in London and Paris after fleeing the country. They sleep safely in their huge mansions, drive expensive supercars, have all they need and even more. Basically, they live in a whole other world compared to their compatriots.
Artist Shawn Coss made these poignant illustrations focused on mental illness and disorders for InkTober. Inktober, a popular annual celebration of ink drawing during the month of October, was started by Jake Parker. Today artists all over the world take on the InkTober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month.
