Here is another set of pictures from the series “Only in…”
And we will continue today this series with Japan, for a second time!
I love this country, it’s so different…
And there goes the first part (50 pics) for the few of you who missed it..
The Cebu in the Philippines has two jails. One of them is an old colonial prison overcrowded with prisoners who make their own rules there and where the guards won’t go if they are not at least 20 people in protected outfits and with snipers on the walls who keep an eye on inmates, in case they tried to pull something off.
Another prison: Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center is the opposite. It is highly protected, they have “fingerprint scanners, closed-circuit TV, and orange uniforms” which is built according to American jail model.
We will mostly talk about the second prison, but there are some interesting facts about Bagong Buhay Rehabilitation Center too.
This is how ‘spring’ has started in Australia. An unprecedented hailstorm hit Melbourne.
In several hours, it was impossible to drive on the road. In some areas of the city, the water depth on the streets reached half a meter.
EDIT: For those who are surprised to see SPRING instead of AUTUMN. It was written on purpose, that's why it was put into quotation marks..

In this selection of photos, you will see cenotes of Yucatan Peninsula. A cenote is a sinkhole with exposed rocky edges containing groundwater. In Mayan, this word stands for “well” to refer to any location where groundwater is accessible.
These pictures are simple spectacular! It makes you wanna go there right away. It is a real natural wonder.
These are animal eyes. It is easy to see which animal they belong to. Apart from the first one. I stared at it for 5 minutes and couldn’t guess. Maybe you will. Anyways, some of them are cute and others are really creepy.
Those are some monster snails!!
The shells of giant African land snails often grow to a length of 20cm. You won’t find snails that big in your backyard except… if you live in Africa!
I think even Fench people don’t eat those…
These are some antique typewriting machines that can be a great house decoration, even for a modern styled home. I know I would like to have several of them. Especially the 3d and the 10th :)

Obesity is a big problem that bothers people all over the world. According to different reports, about 38% of European children will be overweight, 20% of Chinese kids will have extra pounds and 50% of American children will be obese in 2010.
Afraid of such prognosis, China decided to fight with obesity in unique way. Besides many fitness studios parents can now send their overweight children to special diet camps where kids are trained by former militaries.
Official statistics says that if obesity could disappear on its own way, people would live 5-10 years longer.
Sometimes cops can lose focus while taking a picture of a bustard. At least, this first photo is much unfocused, but it may have been done by Kentucky cops on purpose. Who knows? Cause this man was collared for sexual abuse of a minor.
We suggest an interesting game. Take a look at each photo and try to guess the person’s crime. The answers will be there for you under every snapshot.
Fastest eaters seem to love participating in different contests to prove that they are the hungriest and are able to eat the most food in the least time. Can you eat your lunch in less than a minute? These people can! So look at their faces. Maybe you will find a familiar one.

This wedding was a happy one. Everything was going so well until bride, groom and 80 dressed guests decided to take a photo at this beautiful South African spot. Smiling and joking around the wedding party posed for the photographer and… Well, the photo itself is truly memorable. It is such a non standard wedding photo that they will remember this day for the rest of their lives.
Mallakhamb (“malla” stands for wrestler, “khamb” means pole) appeared as exercises for Indian wrestlers in 17th century. Sportsmen had to use a 2.6 m wood pole, and today this tradition is practiced by many gymnastics. On these photos you can see many Indians balancing on the pole and building human pyramids around it. What makes Mallakhamb the most unbelievable sport is that some of the guys who are fond of it are blind!
Some fashion designers make crazy things like these shoes that have ten-inch heels and are created from… elephant dung. I wonder who would wear them. Mmmmm…
