In 1993 Frenchman Emile Leray took off across the Saharan desert in his beat up Citroen 2CV. Partway through his journey his car broke down, leaving him stranded with no hope for escape. However, with his trusty toolbox and a hacksaw Leray was able to fashion a functioning motorcycle out of his useless vehicle, all the while using the car body as shelter against the brutal sandstorms.
