Many people thought that when Jules Verne wrote the story about a mysterious island that he was actually talking about Madeira Island. These are the actual photos of the mysterious island of Madeira.
This building in Bangkok named “The New World Trade Center” was closed in 1997 due to not meeting regulations. Two years later a fire wrecked the building and it was then flooded, which eventually led to it becoming what is it today.
These photos are mainly taken in Shibuya, a special ward in Tokyo. This area is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area. So, it is not surprising that you can meet more drunk people here than in any other part of the capital. Australian designer Tom O’Brie who lives in Japan snaps pics of these people and posts them on his Instagram account he called @shibuyameltdown.
As you can see, this guy can be easily noticed. Well, he really should have a great personality and sense of humor… Just look at his girlfriend.

Aerial photographs of one of the major Syrian oil pipelines before and after it was hit with an explosion, the reasons of which are still unclear.
They do this every winter since 2011, jumping into water when it’s insanely cold outside, and then letting their wet hair freeze until it becomes pure white. Their motivation is the Hair Freezing Contest with a prize that includes frozen hair and (apparently) tons of fun.
