Salineras de Maras in Peru: the Inca salt pans. 

Since pre-Inca times, salt has been obtained in Maras by evaporating salty water from a local subterranean stream. 

These are some seriously hardcore fans of NCAA Basketball. Apparently, they will go to any length to show their support for their favorite team. This usually involves costumes, wigs, and almost always involves face and body paint.

Drug dealers will try anything to transfer their materials across country borders, including going underwater. However, these rickety old submarines weren’t able to successfully make the delivery from Ecuador to Colombia.

Unsuspecting Ukranian custom officers stumbled upon two-month-old twin sisters stashed underneath a sofa while searching through an RV. The French father was attempting to smuggle his children out of the country without letting the mother know.

Shawn Merter from the UK had a Halloween party. He thought that it would be a good idea to glue a very small hat to his head using superglue. Turns out it wasn’t such a good idea after all. He had to go to the hospital to have it removed.

After 12-hour soaking in warm water, the hat finally fell off without damaging his hair.

Named after a Penny Arcade comic character, this perpetually angry functioning computer will spook any battle hardened hardware geek. Just don’t try and steal his Wild Turkey.
