This series of photos by Richard Renaldi is based on a rather simple premise. He meets two people on the street who are strangers to him as well as to each other and asks them to pose for a picture with the stipulation that they must touch each other in some fashion. Hence the name of the series: Touching Strangers.

This man’s name is Conrad Zdzierak, 30, who disguised as a black man and in only 3 hours could rob 5 banks and a drug store. So, right after the robberies, the police couldn’t even suspect the man as they were looking for a black man.
The bank employees didn’t even know that they were fooled. As a sophisticated disguise, Zdzierak used a “Hollywood-style rubber special effects mask and gloves that made him look like a black man.”

Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull’s volcano continued to spew ash all over Europe, it should remind all of us of the wrath that Mother Nature can wreak. As the volcano continued to rumble and hurl ash skyward it also brought us some beautiful scenery as these photos prove. Although the volcano shut down airports all over Europe, it also made for some gorgeous and interesting photography.
