The title sums it up pretty well, so, no need to tell more, let’s just take a look at the pictures…
War really is the worst thing ever!
It’s the season of Fashion Week and models don’t stop presenting designers’ new collections on stage but what’s happening backstage?
Well, that’s what you will see in this post.
Dominique Gisin of Switzerland crashed heavily in the women's downhill at Vancouver Olympic Games.
These are the photos of her fall and of some other dangerous moments.
I’m sure you’re wondering who’s living in such a snowy and isolated place?
Well actually, not a lot of people and it’s certainly not their first home as it is for their work!
It’s in fact a meteorological station which is located in the Giant Mountains, in the north of the Czech Republic.
Sulawesi is one of the four larger Sunda Islands of Indonesia and is situated between Borneo and the Maluku Islands.
Huge deposits of gold have been found 250km of the capital in the Bombali District in 2008 and since then, it’s the gold rush and hundreds of people go there hoping to get rich!
Children quit school and work instead for 10-20 dollars a day, which I think is not too bad over there..
Here are some sad black and white photos showing a bit how things happen over there…
This 21 year-old Indian is fond of lizards. He loves them so much that he often puts them on his face and even in his mouth. Gross…
He is well known in his village and people like to watch him play with them. Because of all that, they called him ‘Lizard Boy’.
This technique is fascinating. It’s an amazing way of decomposing an action.
As the thing you want to capture has to be in motion for the sequence photography to work, this technique is mostly used with sports.
You’ll find here some great shots using this technique.
Enjoy!
The famous landmark in the Hollywood Hills area of Mount Lee in Los Angeles was created in 1923 as an advertisement.
Unfortunately for the advertisers, this sign was a frequent target of pranks and vandalism at that time.
Luckily for us, there’s always someone to take a photo, even at that time…
So let’s see now how the sign looked like when it was pranked or vandalized…
If you don’t know who is EBM (epic beard man), after viewing these pictures and the video, you’ll get it.
The EBM has become popular on the net in the blink of an eye, so now he is a new baked internet meme.
Everything started with this video featuring a 67-year-old white man wearing a T-shirt that reads “I AM A MOTHERFUCKER” having “a heated argument fueled by racial ignorance resulting in a physically violent confrontation” with a 50 year-old black man.
And as this is a very popular meme, so of course there are now lots of photoshopped images floating around the internet. Now let’s look at the video and the pictures.
“After the black man’s nose is broken, he says “bring an ambulance” which has been misheard as both “bring M&M’s” and “bring Amber Lamps” due to a combination of his dialect and facial injury. Amber Lamps has also come to be used as a pseudonym for the girl sitting next to the black man in the video.” [knowyourmeme]
P.S. The video is rather violent with blood, not for the eyes of kids.
These photos are of eight year old Kumar Paswan from a remote Indian village who has an astonishing medical condition. He was born with a parasitic twin. The twin stopped developing in the womb before it separated fully from Kumar and has left him with seven limbs. He has launched an appeal for the thousands of pounds needed for an operation to remove the parasite.
These photos by Martin Rietze look like the landscapes from another planet. They were, of course, taken right here on planet earth. From beautiful light shows provided by volcanoes to strange rock formations, these photos seem to be from some alien planet.
The grandma in these photos is really trying to be part of the punk generation. I don’t know how successful she is being but she does appear to be having a good time. Nevertheless, I don’t think she will be having her grandkids over for dinner this Sunday.
Do you want to see how Filipinos are saving themselves in hot weather - they take a shower (as we all do, you’ll say), but this is not a simple shower, it is the best shower in the world!
The mountain in this photo is known as Cal Orcko. It is famous for the more than 5000 dinosaur tracks that can be found on the side of the mountain. Scientists believe that over 68 million years ago, thousands of dinosaurs flocked at Cal Orko in search of water and food.
What do you think this is?
I’ll give you a hint: it’s an object.
Can’t figure out? The answer is inside the post.
You can’t run away from your destiny…
Crawlers roam the barren wastes of a post steampunk world. These multi wheeled, all terrain vehicles are capable of going anywhere. They have front and rear steering, full suspension, and functional powered treads for movement.
Each picture is clickable so you can see every detail of the Crawler Town.
The Garbage Pail kids in these photos are nothing short of disgusting. I don’t know who collects these things but they need to find a new hobby. They don’t even have a face a Mother could have.
I never believed to all those ghost stories and these pictures won’t make me change my mind!
The photos in this post are believed by many to be untouched, but for me it’s just double exposure or stuff like that.
But still, it’s interesting to look at, as there are explanations coming along with the photos. Well, a post for paranormal lovers…
