Few interesting situations, shot in China are waiting for you inside the post.
Let's start with ecology ;)
Take a look at those Elvis babies, they’re so funny..
You have all once in a lifetime thought what to do with a used tea bag when there is no trash around. Here’s a solution: Hanger tea, so now you can hang it.
It is quite original as a design.
I’m sure they’re not all like that but this one does not make you feel like travelling by train in Ukraine, at least not in winter..
If you like drinking beer and playing battleship, well, you should like playing Beer Battleship!
It’s another creative drinking game.
What’s interesting in this game is that nobody really loses at the end. Whether you win the game or you drink all your beverages… ))
Lots of people don’t really appreciate those new ‘naked’ body scanners, that’s why Pirate Party supporters made a demonstration at several German airports to show their opposition to the controversial scanners.
The participants stripped down to their underpants, walking behinds signs: “No need to scan us – we’re already naked.”
This weird mobile unit is easily transportable; it can be used as an office, a guestroom, a garden house or everything you want..
It has a bathroom, a kitchen, lighting, a sleeping space and several niches for storage. The nose can be opened automatically and functions as a porch.
It’s pretty nice but the central part is a bit empty in my opinion..
More pics after the jump.
The Dakar is an annual rally raid type of off-road automobile race. Most events since the inception in 1978 were from Paris, France to Dakar, Senegal, but due to security threats in Mauritania, the 2009 Dakar Rally was run in South America (Argentina and Chile), the first time the race took place outside of Europe and Africa. It returned to South America this year too. The race will finish in Buenos Aires. The participants will have to run for 9,000 kilometers.
Very exciting and spectacular race!
This boy is really stupid. Who would in clear mind come in the middle of a lake and start stomping and jumping on thin ice, moreover just few meters away of the warning sign???
Fortunately, he could get out from the water. I hope this situation will be a good lesson for him.
Three guys were making a real bike show in Las Vegas at night. They showed different stunts and tricks, it all looked like a dance with motorcycles.
These guys are real daredevils.
After the jump let’s look at Droste effect images.
Just don’t break your eyes or don’t fall into a hypnotic state
This artwork is called Leafage Carving and is a very complicated process.
These images aren’t drawn on the leaves but carved.
The whole operation includes more than 60 working procedures. In brief, when creating the image, only a portion of the leaf’s surface is cut off, while a very thin, almost invisible translucent layer remains.
I’m stunned, it is really need to be seen!
Burj Khalifa, formerly known as Burj Dubai, is a skyscraper in Dubai, UAE, and the tallest man-made structure ever built, at 828 m (2,717 ft).
I’m sure all of you have seen some pics during the past years as the construction began on September 2004, but the famous tallest building in the world officially opened on 4 January 2010, and so, there’re new things to see..
We will see a bit of everything in this post, from the building itself to the opening ceremony that occurred recently. We’ll also take a look on photos of the construction, photos taken from different heights of the building, photos of the fountains and we won’t miss the world record of base jumping that has been established few days ago.
And don’t forget to watch the videos at the end of the post..

One girl from South Korea decided to “adjust” her face a little bit by going under the knife.
You will see the process of transformation inside the post. Looking at these photos makes me somehow uncomfortable, so it is very true: one must suffer to be beautiful ;)
Hwacheon County is home to an ice fishing festival in which thousands of competitors try to catch as many wild trouts as possible. This takes place in the Hwacheoncheon (stream) during nearly the entire month of January. The festival organizers claim there are roughly 1,000,000 visitors annually.
A small but excellent selection of exciting photos in the style of "stop a moment."
It is breathtakingly beautiful; fire and smoke are just fascinating! A must see post.
Pigs are awesome!
If you don’t believe me, check this entry.. ))
South Korea conducts annual winter exercises. More than 200 soldiers a month have received special military training.
Soldiers had a lot of things to go through, because these were truly Spartan conditions.
Annually, MAD club organizes the New Year charity race called Hoar Cross Downhill Soap Box. The race is run over a 1.25 mile course downhill, so all who want to participate in the race come here every time as well as thousands of visitors because the most unthinkable carts are involved in the competition.
It’s not a clever idea but this blonde girl clearly didn’t mind!
Good way to piss off the drivers though…
Yep, you can even do creative stuff with pencils!
This interesting and rather unusual residential complex was built in China.
The building consists of a set of blocks which are shifted by 2 meters horizontally. It was designed to gain additional space that was used for the construction of terraces.
As for me, it looks something like a LEGO building, only in real life.
